Junshan Yinzhen Yellow Needle Tea originates from the serene Junshan Island, surrounded by the misty waters of Dongting Lake in Hunan Province. Local farmers carefully handpick only the freshest, unopened buds during the early spring season, ensuring optimal flavor and quality.

After harvesting, the tea undergoes a unique “yellowing” process that sets it apart from other teas. The buds are first withered to reduce moisture and then lightly pan-fired to halt oxidation. They are then wrapped in cloth and left to rest, allowing the subtle transformation that gives yellow tea its signature golden hue and mellow taste. Finally, the buds are gently dried to lock in their delicate flavor and aroma. This meticulous process highlights the craftsmanship and tradition behind Junshan Yinzhen.
