Xiaohuzhai Wu-Long Tea is cultivated in the breathtaking Wuyi Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its unique terroir. The tea leaves are handpicked during the spring season, when the cool mountain air and rocky soil contribute to their exceptional quality. Farmers carefully select the finest mature leaves to ensure a robust flavor profile.

The leaves are first withered under natural sunlight to reduce moisture while preserving their inherent aroma. They are then hand-rolled and oxidized, a process that brings out the tea’s characteristic floral and roasted notes. Finally, the leaves are roasted over charcoal multiple times, a step that requires precision and skill to achieve the perfect balance of smokiness and mineral-rich complexity. The dedication and craftsmanship of the Wuyi tea artisans shine through in every batch of Xiaohuzhai. Learn more about our traditional tea-making practices on our About Us page.
